I knew Dani was my future wife on the night of the first date. After asking her a million questions and hearing the way she answered all of them. There was a still small voice in me saying what my heart knew to be true, this woman with so much life in her, so many dreams, and so much love was my life-long companion, the future mother to our children, and one who would help me get to Heaven one day. The months that followed only confirmed this dozens more times. As we grew to understand our full personalities, worked through our differences and communication styles, and matured as children of God discerning this vocation, what started as a small voice in me grew into a loud roar. My desire to give my life to serving this woman became stronger and stronger... until I got to asking her to be my wife... AND until this special day on July 5th when I get to promise to belong to her for life!
